The Karmapa Mikyö Dorje Centre of Buddhist Studies and Meditation

Was founded over thirty years ago by Bodhisattva Lama Jesús, Jesús Javier Juanotena, with the aim of establishing a place where meditation and the teachings of Buddha could be practiced with continuity. It is a centre for the dissemination and preservation of the Kagyu Buddhist tradition. This tradition is one of the four Tibetan Buddhist schools, and is under the spiritual direction of the XVII Gyalwa Karmapa Trinley Thaye Dorje.
